After dedicating over 38 years to the field of medicine, my career evolved from early roots as a Family Physician into an approach that balances the best of Functional and Western medicine.
I began my journey starting medical school at the age of 17 and graduating at 23. Practicing as a Family Physician in my country for 13 years, covering Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, ObGyn and Emergencies. Later, after moving to the U.S., I worked as a Medical Assistant from Plastic Surgery to Family and Internal Medicine, acquiring valuable knowledge about the US Healthcare System.
As an APRN I had specialized in FNP and PMHNP, focusing on Endocrinology for 3 years trained and mentored by a very respected and knowledgeable Endocrinologist-Internal Medicine MD in Miami who specializes also in Hormone Replacement Therapy for Menopausal Women.
After treating many patients facing complex conditions like menopause, obesity, and metabolic imbalances, I had tried this methods on myself and now I can share the story of my very successful personal journey after losing 120 lbs and feeling great. That also had inspired me to specialize in Psychiatry and Mental Health to combine that knowledge to help more persons who are where I once was. If I did it, you can too!
Today, I combine a Functional Medicine approach, which addresses the root cause of disease, with Western practices & provide a high personalized care on Metabolic Psychiatry which is not often found out there.
I use Weight loss, Hormone Replacement Therapy for Men and Women, Metabolic Optimization, Anti-aging and Aesthetics tools to give you what will make you feel the best version of yourself so you can feel good, look good and keep having a great sex.
